NGC 2841 is definitely not among Charles Messier's discoveries, but is among the brightest galaxies in Ursa Major, at magnitude 10.3. NGC 2841 is a fine "sb" type spiral system, with delicate and tightly packed spiral arms that can be properly detected only in photographs.

NGC 3184 is a lovely face-on spiral galaxy of magnitude 10.5, spanning a circle 5.5 arc minutes across. Look for NGC 3184 in the field of the third magnitude red giant star Mu Ursae Majoris (Tania Australis). Of type "sc", NGC 3184 has a small nuclear region which sprouts several spiral arms that snake away into space, bending sharply at several points. Telescopes will not easily resolve this, however; the visual appearance is that of a softly glowing core surrounded by a circular disk of misty light.
