M93 is yet another star cluster in Canis Major's
neighboring constellation of Puppis, and can be found 10
degrees east northeast of Adhara in the surfer's legs.
At a distance of about 3000 light years, this cluster is
mid way between M46 and M47 in remoteness; the overall
character of M93 is a bright but compact group, with
about 60 members scattered over an area half the
apparent size of the full moon.
