93-001 "A Pack of Trouble" In the deep forests of Mesozoic Asia, trouble stirs in the sinister form of a Velociraptor clan stalking through the shadows. This work dates from what seems to me now as a golden era, the time when we did not suspect these creatures sported feathers. I prefer them 'naked', purely reptilian. But in the science illustration business, reality is the boss. I must say that although the animals are subject to revision, I do very much like the overall scene. Hiding among the distant flora, barely discernable, is a much larger Allosaurid predator; monster that it is, it might yet be well advised to avoid this pack of trouble.
