03-007 "Gasoline Seashore"
2003, digital

Amid the hazy methane vapors that cloak Saturn's huge moon Titan, we are treated to a sight we can see nowhere else in our solar system except Earth: ponds, lakes, and perhaps even oceans of liquid commingling with a solid landscape. Although the chemicals present in this otherworldly sky paint it in warm tones, the temperature is anything but "warm"; the thermometer will not rise as high as 200 degrees below zero.
