This is my third painting of the constellation Delphinus the dolphin - the first was lost as a gift to an ex-girlfriend; the image was never photographed. The second, part number 98-040, is shown elsewhere in this catalog. I normally do not repeat a painting, but this art was requested by a special long time friend, and although the images are similar, I altered the balance of transparency in the newer image to subdue the dolphin and enhance the space background. The two images form an interesting comparison, and serve as proof that original art is always original, even when the basic idea is repeated.
